Why ABPM & Why Now?
Blood pressure (BP) fluctuates throughout the day and night. The detail collected in a 24-hour ABPM recording gives clinicians far greater data for use in diagnosing and managing hypertension than traditional measurements. The American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and USPSTF all recognize ABPM as a powerful screening tool in the treatment of hypertension.

How does BPro® work within physician practices?
Once activated by staff in the physician’s office, the cuffless BPro automatically captures arterial pulse wave data every 15 minutes over a 24-hour period.
Once the BPro captures 24 hours of data, it automatically encrypts and transmits that encrypted data to a BPro server, where proprietary software generates a report.
The report organizes and graphs the data according to various blood pressure indices: brachial blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, central arterial pressure, and a composite arterial pulse waveform.
“Furthermore, as an additional benefit, the data obtained with BPro® will allow pharmaceutical companies to target their audience and promote their product appropriately. The patients love the device. They feel incorporated into their care, and since they are getting cutting edge treatment.”
Russ Ronson, MD
“There is no wearable in the world like BPro and its measurement of 24-hour blood pressure.”
Suzanne Oparil, MD
